NAIL TIPS. To protect your nails and keep them healthy follow these tips:
1) Moisturize daily, often and include the cuticles.
2) It’s best not to cut or push back cuticles. If you must, be gentle.
3) Shave legs at least 24 hours after a pedicure, not before to avoid skin irritation or abrasions that might allow bacteria to penetrate the skin.
4) Use only clean, sterilized tools.
5) Apply a clear basecoat to keep nails from yellowing under darker nail colors.
6) Use temporary nails to enhance a look, not to cover nail issues. This may only make them worse.
